Crownwood has its roots in the home extension market. From a family business founded in the mid 1980’s we have evolved over the last 30 +years. Active at one time in the speculative residential development as well, we eventually focused purely on home extensions, with the vast majority of projects taken on a full design & build basis.

These days Kitchens & Bathrooms take up a lot of our time. But we are still very active in home extensions. But we are very much more selective as to the type of projects we take on. More than ever we enjoy being involved from the very first ideas, and it is relatively unusual to not be involved in planning & budgeting everything from the word go.

Repeat business or personal recommendations are our biggest source of new enquiries. We do not advertise. We like to take on projects that will benefit from our particular approach and skill set. We will be honest with you and let you know if a project is will be suited to us.

Our first step is always to make a free home visit & provide professional advice relating to practicality, cost, and planning. Often coming up with ideas customers had not even considered.
